The dali lama just sat there and smiled because he couldn't understand what on earth he was saying. And the translator didn't translate it very well....I'm not sure I saw anything spiritual about him any more than joe blog sitting there and not understanding anything...and smiling....the dali lama is just a man in a red robe with poor eyesight.
I gotta admit...it was kinda funny I'm glad the reporter wasn't kissing ass like most of them do I'd invite him round for dinner any day.

I can't believe you actually wrote that! This is what trinity bashing does. It judges others by what you think is correct. Who are you to say someone is not a christian because they don't believe in your version of trinity teaching? It is only your interpretation of the bible.

As far as guns and gold go....I can't say that interests me at all...but why someone would share this information? that is another issue...obviously they arent sharing it for selfish purposes, otherwise they wouldn't be the ones to benefit would they? You already pointed that out yourself...it would benefit them to tell no one and stock pile. So they must be sharing this information for unselfish reasons.
It is probably a different answer depending on who is sharing the infomation with you....I am guessing that sinis shares the information because he/she wants to help others...however, if it was a gun manufacturer sharing this information...you could say it was about profit...really we need to find out who the source is before we can make any assumption.
Sorry for the long winded reply...but my point really is...why question the sharer of the information...question the source and their motives. If you don't know who the source is, how can you properly question their reasonings.

Lola...your loss reminds me of the pain and grief of losing my mother to cancer too....it is such a difficult time and no words can truly describe those empty feelings and feelings of loss....my experience was also one of feeling very alone...
It has taken a while, but I no longer feel the intense grief that once was. I sometimes feel sadness when I remember. But time does heal and allow us to regain joy in our lives. My thoughts are with you....if I could I would give you a hug and cry with you....

it was going to happen, it was an absolute because divine prophecy is correct.
judas had to betray jesus in order to fulfil prophecy.. now, i've always personally believed that a person does not sin by an act that they cannot avoid, but this seems like kind of the motherload of standing on the traintracks.

If Jesus knew before the event at all, surely this is Foreknowledge. Regardless of the time frame.
There is no indication that Judas was in rebellion when chosen (would not be wise to pick him)
Does this not still point to knowing what will occur? He did not make him commit this act, but he knew he was going to do it. So YES, it would be wise to pick him, because he is carrying out what was fortold by his father. An event that was going to happen, because it was his inclination.

I agree that Jesus did not know this from birth. But he certainly did when he chose his appostles. But knowing something and causing it a two different things. And saying that it could have been any one of the appostles contradicts John 6:64. Dont you think?
I do think that God knew from the beginning....but again....knowing and causing are different concepts.
